Dr. Pat grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He graduated from McNeese State University and then attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated in 1980 and practiced in the Houston area for over 30 years. Just recently he relocated to Frisco, Texas with his wife Nina of 40 years to enjoy more time with his two sons, their wives and four granddaughters. Dr. Pat enjoys the outdoors, especially golf, and has just recently been certified in scuba diving. Though he is from Louisiana he has always been a diehard Cowboys fan since their inception!
Dr. Pat makes continuing education a priority. He has extensive training in TMD/Comprehensive Dentistry from the L.D. Pankey Institute and hundreds of hours in continuing education for Orthodontics and Invisalign. He holds a Level II Sedation Permit to aid in the comfortable treatment of dentistry to all types of patients. Dr. Pat treats everyone as if they’re his family, so he looks forward to your dental visit where he can help you with all your dental needs.
Dr. Mona Stone is not only an esteemed oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing full scope surgery, she is a public speaker, an activist, philanthropist and the cofounder to the grassroots organization Real Heroes Need Masks.
After receiving her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, she went on to do a year of internship at Truman Medical Center and then a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Broward General Medical Center.
Dr. Stone practices the full scope of the specialty, including maxillofacial pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, maxillofacial reconstruction, microvascular surgery, facial cosmetic surgery and trauma surgery. She is also an attending surgeon at Baylor Medical Center Grapevine, Irving and at Methodist Hospital.
In addition to her role in the community, she is the mother of two beautiful children, Max and Sofia, an avid supporter of motor sports and Formula 1, and a TikTok creator and social media activist.

Dr. Karkuri graduated with honors from Garyounis University College of Dentistry Libya and earned his Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree in 2006. After working for three years as a General Dental practitioner, he continued to pursue his dream of becoming a specialist in Orthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry and graduated with a specialty degree in 2015. Later that year, he became board certified in Orthodontics.He has 13 years of clinical practice experience in various settings, 10 of those years were dedicated to being a specialist in Orthodontics, which gives him the clinical experience to take care of complex Orthodontic cases with various techniques, including Invisalign, Traditional and Clear braces. With his knowledge, clinical skills, compassion, and the care of our staff–we will strive to give you the best dental experience.
Dr. Shafa Nathani is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centered dental care with a focus on the critical connection between oral and overall health. A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Nathani takes pride in offering thoughtful, well-rounded treatment plans that address both function and aesthetics.
With extensive training and a strong foundation in advanced techniques, Dr. Nathani brings both precision and compassion to her work. Her dedication to continued learning ensures that she remains at the forefront of modern dental care, allowing her to provide high-quality, personalized treatment for every patient she sees.
Her approach is thorough and holistic. She believes that oral health plays an essential role in systemic wellness, and she takes the time to evaluate each patient's unique needs. Dr. Nathani has a particular interest in Invisalign treatment, which empowers patients to achieve their aesthetic goals while also improving alignment, hygiene, and long-term oral health.
Creating a supportive, welcoming environment is a priority in Dr. Nathani’s practice. She wants every patient to feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout their care journey.
Dr. Nathani was drawn to dentistry by a love of working with her hands and connecting with people. While in dental school, she served as the National President of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) from 2023 to 2024, leading the largest student-run dental organization in the country. Outside the office, Dr. Nathani enjoys playing tennis and experimenting with new recipes for her loved ones.
