Dr. Tyler Youn, DDS General Dentist Dr. Tyler Youn is a dedicated general dentist whose passion for dentistry began in childhood and has driven his lifelong commitment to improving oral health through compassionate, patient-centered care. A graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Dr. Youn completed rigorous clinical training in restorative, surgical, pediatric, and prosthetic dentistry. By the completion of his Doctor of Dental Surgery training, he had performed over 430 direct composite restorations, numerous crown and bridge cases, and advanced implant-supported prosthodontic treatments. Dr. Youn’s clinical interests include operative dentistry, dental implants, aesthetic restorations, digital dentistry, and the science of dental materials. He is deeply committed to evidence-based care and continues to refine his skills through advanced training and ongoing research. His excellence has been recognized with numerous prestigious honors, including induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society awarded for distinguished scholarship and academic excellence. He is also the recipient of the American College of Dentists – F. Burn Guthrie Memorial Award for both didactic and clinical excellence, the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for outstanding restorative care, and the Academy of Dental Materials Award for achievement in biomaterials science. As an active contributor to dental research, Dr. Youn earned 1st Place in the Washington AGD William Howard Competition for Clinical Presentation, and 1st Place in the Academy of General Dentistry e-Poster National Award for his research on implant abutment screw techniques. His research emphasizes aesthetics, implantology, and minimally invasive approaches. Dr. Youn approaches every patient with attention to detail, empathy, and a commitment to clinical excellence. He is proud to serve his community and advance the field of dentistry through both practice and innovation.
Dr. Johnny Le grew up in the White Center area and attended Evergreen High School. He earned a double major Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Cellular/Developmental Biology from the University of Washington. He then continued his dental education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. His favorite aspect of dentistry is building a long-lasting relationship with his patients as he works to restore their oral health and rebuild their confidence in their smiles. Outside of the office, Dr. Le enjoys working out at the gym, videogames, and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Le is a huge football fan and always looks forward to the new NFL season. Dr. Michael Caparas began his dental career in Dallas, TX when he purchased a dilapidated practice on the brink of ruins. He and his wife worked countless hours creating an environment where patients could feel comforted and welcomed. The success was obvious by patient responses and community support. Dr. Caparas decided to parlay that success and open an additional location. He brought on his first associate doctor and continued to build his dream of creating a group practice that would provide all phases of dentistry and thus, Metroplex Dental Care was born.A couple years later Metroplex Dental Care acquired North Texas Dental Consultants (NTDC). NTDC was a "well" established group practice with over 10 years of history in North Texas. Following the acquisition, Dr. Caparas added expanded services and hours and along with efficient systems, the offices exploded in growth and locations. Soon after the acquisition, Metroplex Dental Care expanded locations to additional cities within Texas. Metroplex Dental Care now provides general and specialty services to thousands of families throughout Texas.Dr. Caparas holds an AAS from Edmonds Community College, a BS in Psychology from Western Washington University, and a DMD in dentistry from Nova South-eastern University. He is a member of, American Dental Association, Washington Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, America Academy of Facial Aesthetics, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, America Orthodontic Society.Dr. Caparas resides in Kirkland, Washington with his wife and three boys.
Dr. Samar Haghighi grew up in Eastern Washington and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology at Central Washington University, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Haghighi has dedicated countless hours of research in restorative dentistry and has been awarded 1st place for one of her research projects at the Washington Academy of General Dentistry competition. Dr. Haghighi entered the dental field because of her passion to serve her community. She obsessively focuses on patient experience and quality of care. Her philosophy is to spend the time to listen carefully to each person's concerns and customize a treatment plan that is unique to their overall health and wellness. Outside of the office, Dr. Haghighi enjoys playing piano, baking, painting, and travelling around the world.
