Dr. Karkuri graduated with honors from Garyounis University College of Dentistry Libya and earned his Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree in 2006. After working for three years as a General Dental practitioner, he continued to pursue his dream of becoming a specialist in Orthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry and graduated with a specialty degree in 2015. Later that year, he became board certified in Orthodontics.He has 13 years of clinical practice experience in various settings, 10 of those years were dedicated to being a specialist in Orthodontics, which gives him the clinical experience to take care of complex Orthodontic cases with various techniques, including Invisalign, Traditional and Clear braces. With his knowledge, clinical skills, compassion, and the care of our staff–we will strive to give you the best dental experience.
Dr. Varun Kulkarni has served as a Faculty for Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Midwestern University. Currently a full-time private practitioner, Dr. Kulkarni combines his teaching abilities and clinical skills to deliver exceptional patient care. Additionally, Dr. Kulkarni has published over 50 articles in Immunology, Periodontology, Implant surgery, Oral Surgery, Esthetic, and Plastics surgery and has presented numerous lectures and surgical demonstrations. He has also lectured nationally and internationally on dental implants and periodontal procedures. He also serves on the Editorial Boards of many peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Kulkarni is the recipient of the Distinguished Nobel Biocare Fellowship and Straumann Implant Fellowship.
Dr. Noopur Shah is a caring and an experienced general dentist at Ideal Dental Willow Bend, where she is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Dr. Shah provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a wide range of services, including preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, and is committed to making every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and takes time to ensure each individual is heard , informed, and at ease during their visit. Her goal is to make dental care a positive experience while promoting long-term oral health.
Dr. Shah grew up in Ahmedabad, India. She earned her degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Pacific Dental College and Hospital in India, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at UAB school of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama. She continues to advance her skills through ongoing education in the latest techniques which allows her to stay at the forefront of modern dental care.
Known for her gentle approach and personalized care, Dr. Shah takes the time to listen to her patients' concern and tailor treatment plans to meet their unique needs. She believes in patient education and strives to empower her patients to take an active role in their oral health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Shah enjoys travelling, reading, playing boardgames and enjoying company of her two cats , Cashew and Bleu!
Dr. Mona Stone is not only an esteemed oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing full scope surgery, she is a public speaker, an activist, philanthropist and the cofounder to the grassroots organization Real Heroes Need Masks.
After receiving her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, she went on to do a year of internship at Truman Medical Center and then a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Broward General Medical Center.
Dr. Stone practices the full scope of the specialty, including maxillofacial pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, maxillofacial reconstruction, microvascular surgery, facial cosmetic surgery and trauma surgery. She is also an attending surgeon at Baylor Medical Center Grapevine, Irving and at Methodist Hospital.
In addition to her role in the community, she is the mother of two beautiful children, Max and Sofia, an avid supporter of motor sports and Formula 1, and a TikTok creator and social media activist.
