I’m Dr. Shubha Pewa, a general and family dentist proudly serving patients in Texas, USA. With over 17 years of experience in dentistry—including four years as an assistant professor—I’ve dedicated my career to delivering compassionate, comprehensive, and high-quality dental care for patients of all ages.
I believe that every smile is unique, and I approach dentistry with a personal touch: combining thorough clinical care with clear communication, gentle technique, and tailored treatment recommendations. Whether performing restorative and aesthetic procedures, providing Invisalign®, treating children, or managing extractions and crown and bridge work, I strive to create a comfortable, anxiety-free experience for every patient.

Dentistry runs in my family, and it’s more than a profession to me—it’s a calling I love. Outside the office, I enjoy exploring new cuisines and cultures, and spending quality time with my husband and our three wonderful daughters.
Dr. Ahmed Ali grew up in Cairo, Egypt where he obtained his DDS in 2003 from Cairo University with honors. After finishing dental school, he worked as a research assistant at the Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic Department, National Research Center. During this period Dr. Ali participated in many research projects that explored oral health inequalities among low socioeconomic populations in Cairo. Dr. Ali completed his master’s degree in pediatric dentistry and dental public health in 2010 at Cairo University where he gained profound experience treating patients with special needs and children of all ages in the clinic and in the hospital setting. After that Dr. Ali travelled to Saudi Arabia, where he worked as a pediatric dentist in a well-known dental center. Dr. Ali received a prestigious scholarship from the Japanese government and travelled to Japan to obtain his PhD in 2017 in Orthodontics and Craniofacial biology from Kyushu University, Japan. With a great desire to provide excellent care for children, in 2021 he then completed a 2-year Pediatric Dentistry residency at Boston University. He also worked as a dentist at Lynn Community Health Center in Lynn, MA where he provided dental care for children from disadvantaged communities. In his spare time, Dr. Ali enjoys running, travelling, playing sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Sung Han is a board-certified Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon who comes from a family of dentists. He developed an early interest in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery through his father. Inspired by before-and-after pictures of his father’s jaw surgery patients, Dr. Han also wanted to become an oral maxillofacial surgeon to help people using his hands.
He went on to receive his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, graduating with Honors. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry in Michigan. He was invited to be a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society and was the recipient of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) dental student award of his graduating class.
Dr. Han earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California. Afterwards, he completed a 1-year General Surgery internship during which time he was nominated Resident Physician of the Month. He then finished his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center where his training focused on dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, and dental implants), oral pathology, anesthesia, facial trauma, and orthognathic surgery. His research during residency focused on in-office anesthesia and multimodal pain management.
Dr. Han is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Han is fluent in English and Korean. Outside of the office, Dr. Han enjoys singing (he was a member of a famous college A cappella group), cooking Thai and Japanese dishes, watching European soccer, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
