Hi, I’m Dr. Sandra Avila! I’m a proud Colombian-American and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Growing up in a close-knit, hardworking Colombian family, I was raised to value both care and connection—two things that have always been at the heart of who I am and how I practice.  I chose dentistry because it allows me to help people in a way that’s personal, creative, and hands-on. There’s nothing like seeing someone smile with confidence again—whether I’m helping to restore function, improve aesthetics, or simply making someone feel comfortable in the chair, it’s incredibly rewarding. I love taking the time to truly listen and build trust with my patients, especially during complex treatments where comfort and communication matter most.  Outside the office, I’m a colorguard enthusiast, a huge fan of live music and theatre, and I treasure time with my family and my Cane Corso, who keeps me on my toes and always makes me laugh. My roots, passions, and the people I love all shape the care I give—and I feel grateful every day to do what I love while connecting with others.
